Description
We are currently recruiting a marine / mechanical engineer, who is able to work with all different types of marine-based systems and who not only is familiar with modern engines but also traditional engines and systems.
The ideal candidate would have experience in maintaining and servicing a variety of marine engines, gearboxes and shafting lines.
Attention to detail, trouble shooting and diagnostic skills would all be advantageous as would a knowledge of welding and fabrication.
Ideally the candidate will hold a marine or mechanical qualification and be capable of working on their own initiative. They will report directly to the workshop manager
Salary is dependent on experience and this is a full-time permanent position.
